The Initiative for Women Miners in Africa (IWoMA) proudly announces the launch of its Women Miners Grants and Loans Readiness Program, aimed at empowering women miners across the African continent. Spearheaded by Dr. Comfort Asokoro-Ogaji, Executive Director of IWoMA, this initiative seeks to provide women miners with the necessary resources and support to access grants and loans for their mining endeavors.

The Women Miners Grants and Loans Readiness Program will offer training, mentorship, and guidance to women miners, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to navigate the grant and loan application processes. By empowering women in the mining sector, IWoMA aims to foster economic independence, gender equality, and sustainable development in mining communities.

Dr. Comfort Asokoro-Ogaji, Executive Director of IWoMA, expressed her enthusiasm for the program, stating, "We are excited to launch the Women Miners Grants and Loans Readiness Program and to support women miners in accessing the financial resources they need to thrive in their work. By providing training and guidance, we aim to empower women miners and drive positive change in the mining sector."
