Venue: Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), South Africa

Women in Mining Africa (WiM-Africa) is proud to participate in the Africa Energy Indaba 2026, Africa’s premier platform for energy policy, investment, innovation and strategic partnership. Under the theme “Powering Africa’s Energy Transition Through Inclusive Systems: Why Women and Host Communities Must Be Central,” WiM-Africa will bring a continental voice to the intersection of mining, energy transition, gender inclusion and community empowerment.

As a network active across 36 African countries, WiM-Africa advances gender-responsive frameworks, women-led value addition, host community inclusion, ESG integration, leadership pathways, and strategic research. At the Indaba, we will share insights, foster cross-sector partnerships, and engage with policymakers, investors, and industry leaders to ensure that Africa’s energy future is inclusive, equitable and sustainable.

Join us to explore actionable strategies, build lasting collaborations, and amplify the role of women and communities in Africa’s energy and mineral value chains.
