WiM-Africa China Industry Immersion & Global Market Access Program

This curated WiM-Africa–China Industry Immersion and Partnership Engagement is designed to provide women-led mining enterprises, cooperatives, professionals, and investors with direct exposure to advanced mineral processing technologies, equipment manufacturing ecosystems, and global metals markets.
Participants will undertake a structured series of industrial learning visits to a minimum of four (4) leading mineral processing, mining equipment, smelting, refining, or battery-material manufacturing facilities in China. These site engagements are intended to facilitate firsthand understanding of production processes, technology options, quality standards, ESG practices, financing structures, and supply chain integration models.
The program culminates in full participation at the 2026 SMM Copper Industry Conference & Expo (CCIE 2026) in Suzhou, China, where delegates will engage with global industry leaders, technology providers, traders, and policymakers through curated matchmaking sessions, exhibitions, technical panels, and high-level networking forums.
This engagement is a structured commercial, technical, and partnership-building platform designed to support:
-
Technology transfer and equipment sourcing
-
Market access and offtake discussions
-
Cooperative development models
-
ESG and compliance learning
-
Investment and financing linkages
-
Africa–China value chain integration
Participation is selective and aligned with WiM-Africa’s objective of building scalable, investment-ready women-led mineral value chains across Africa.
