It’s Official – WiM-Africa Young Leaders, Malawi Chapter!

The WiM-Africa Young Leaders, Malawi Chapter is now established as a national platform dedicated to empowering the next generation of women in mining, advancing #leadership opportunities for young professionals, and fostering innovation in the extractives sector.

This chapter will focus on WiM-Africa’s Agenda 5: NextGen WiM – Investing in Future Women Mining Leaders, by strengthening #mentorship pathways, building technical skills, and amplifying youth voices to shape the future of mining in Malawi and beyond.

We look forward to the impact this chapter will drive in nurturing future leaders, expanding opportunities for young women, and contributing to a more inclusive and #sustainable mining sector.

We call on all stakeholders across Malawi, government, industry, academia, and civil society, to collaborate with WiM-Africa Young Leaders for effective implementation and long-term impact.
