We’re building Africa’s future in mining — and it starts with a plan.

WiM-Africa is currently developing its Five-Year Action Plan (2025–2030) — a strategic, continental roadmap to advance gender equity, economic empowerment, and institutional impact across Africa’s mining ecosystem.

With over 30 countries engaged, the Action Plan integrates our Strategic Focus Areas, Seven Point Program Agenda, and the voices of hundreds of contributors through open consultation.

This week, we finalized the drafting templates for all 10 chapters of the plan — from Strategy and Implementation to Financing, MEL, and Institutional Architecture. Special thanks to all our volunteers, experts, and partners shaping this transformative document.
