Women-Led Mineral Value Addition & Market Linkages
WiM-Africa’s first program under the Seven-Point Program Agenda (7PPA) focuses on equipping women entrepreneurs, cooperatives, and mineral processors to actively participate in value addition, beneficiation, and trade across Africa and global markets.
This program supports the establishment of women-led mineral value addition hubs, promoting inclusive participation in AfCFTA trade, and driving Africa’s shift from raw exports to local processing and industrialization.
Program Goals
Strengthen women-led enterprises in mineral beneficiation and processing.
Develop market linkages across AfCFTA and global supply chains.
Build infrastructure and capacity for local value addition.
Foster technology transfer and innovation through industrial partnerships.
