Epiroc Women in Mining Scholarship

Open to women in their final year studying technology-centred studies, the Epiroc Women in Mining (EWIM) Scholarship helps scholars find their pathway within the mining industry, facilitate vital connections and advocates for women in STEM.




Epiroc has a tradition of innovation dating back to 1873 and has held a strong presence in Australia since 1950. With innovation at the forefront, Epiroc and AusIMM recognise the important shift towards increasing diversity in our industry and championing emerging mining professionals.


From 7 August to 11 September 2023, Epiroc will be accepting applications for the EWIM Scholarship.

Championing women in STEM

The 2024 Epiroc Women in Mining Scholarship recipient will receive:

  • $2,000 bursary to support your studies.

  • Opportunity to participate in a tour of an active mine site. 

  • Opportunity to participate in a tour of the Epiroc Perth workshop and facilities.

  • Option of paid work experience with Epiroc in a real project or practical work setting
